I love to play cards.  I think its one of the things that growing up helped me to increase and fine tune my analytical and pattern recognition capabilities.  I moonlight every now and then writing for a couple different poker websites even today.

These tables are often elegant but always very functional and practical.  Its one of those things that fits into a niche but definitely has hundreds of years of technology and design behind it.
