Questia Online Research and Citation Software
Questia is an online research and citation tool supported by a virtual library of scanned and indexed books and articles.
Students, educators, researchers and publishers can access Questia through a subscription and search the companies online database of digital content. When a user find content that they would like to cite, they can then highlight the phrase, sentence or paragraph and copy it to their document.
Questia will automatically create the appropriate footnotes or bibliography entry according to the rules and conventions of seven different citation styles:
- MLA (Modern Language Association)
- APA (American Psychological Association)
- ASA (American Sociological Association)
- Chicago Manual of Style, One
- Chicago Manual of Style, Two
- Turabian Bibliographic Style
- Turabian Reference List Style
The service offers monthly quarterly and yearly services and can enable research virtually without having to set foot in a library. I’ve used software in the past that made citation work easier, but I have not come across a comprehensive system that also provides the Questia Online Library includes more than 60,000 full text books.
Its this combination of research at your finger tips combined with easy and accurate citation tools that makes this a very useful online tool.
